About Us

The directors of ADS with over 60 years combined experience in sub-sea construction identified a unique opportunity to provide a superior service to the offshore and civils diving sector drawing on their experienced gathered over their working history hence the directors came together and in 2010 ADS was established becoming fully operational in 2012. ADS are recognised as a preferred IMCA contractor in Africa providing the best in subsea equipment and personnel. Entering all our projects with the confidence stability and enthusiasm our vast depth of knowledge provides to subsea challenges globally.

ADS strive to be at the forefront of modern innovative subsea techniques and equipment achieving reliable cost-effective underwater intervention services. Since company formation in 2010 ADS have added Commercial Diving Services, ROV, Survey while also providing Offshore Security Services and recently opening new offices in the heart of Dubaiís Business Bay catering to our expanding market.

Obtaining IMCA certification in 2013 and from 2014 have been a full IMCA Diving Contractor ROV & Survey, servicing all major contractors and International Oil & Gas producers.

ADS is registered and certified with the following - IMCA, ABS, DNV-GL, Lloyds, BV in water surveys, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001 (ROV & Survey).

About Us

ADS is also an approved diving contractor for the following oil producers - ExxonMobil (GP), TOTAL, Chevron, Shell (Centre of Excellence), Addax and Amni.

Our services have been as follows:

Diving Services

ADS at present has five complete IMCA compliant containerised diving spreads, four are classed and complete with twin basket LARS.

ADS has one rhino 750 and two 590s with offshore handling and launching frames available for project support activities.

WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED

ADS has assisted a number of our experienced local diving personnel who had local PTI training and certification to fly to South African and the United Kingdom to continue their training & receive IMCA diving certification along with additional training in the following disciplines:

• Diver Medic Technicians (DMT)
• CSWIP Inspection diving certification 3.1u and 3.2u.
• IMCA Assistant Diving Supervisor Certification.
• IMCA Diving supervisor certification.

Diving Services

We ensure that we continue with intensive equipment and task familiarisation training offshore as we are fully aware that as a company we are only as good as the personnel that we have working offshore and through continued training we will can ensure that we can offer the best diving teams possible.

We have an extremely proactive approach to emergency drills and have a compilation of drill reports available showing the broad range of scenarios that we have trained our teams to anticipate.

We have an excellent safety track record that we believe is due to a combination of ensuring we have experienced capable personnel supported by good, well maintained equipment and dependable logistical support from the beach.

The Future

ADS will continue to grow and continue to be the best diving and subsea support company.

We now have six IMCA Air/NITROX spreads, 5 of which are classed, along with additional specialised dedicated tooling containers for hydraulic tools and cutting equipment.

Our purpous built NITROX production unit is fully functional and available in country. The next complete system, expected soon has this facility incorporated.

Our ROV fleet has been extended with the partnership between ADS and Marine Solutions to offer three SEAEYE FALCON ROV’s and one Cougar. Also for cost reductions to the client as well as a back-up for the main ROV’s we have three VideoRay "suitcase ROV’s". Our ROV fleet assist with diver monitoring, ensuring the utmost safety for our divers.

Due to client requirements ADS has purchased ACFM equipment to enhance our inspection capabilities to be used alongside MPI, FMD, UT & CP techniques.

ADS now has full diving telemetry recording with real time sensors for all subsea operations. All information can be downloaded to a computer for further analysis.

ROV Services

ADS are IMCA members with the ROV division. Some of our clients now insist on having ROVs monitor the divers as additional safety measures. Therefor ADS has teamed up with Marine Solutions (http://marinesolutions.co.za) in order to offer a diverse and dedicated ROV package to include three Falcons (Complete with LARS) and two Cougars.

Three VideoRay (“suit case ROV”) units have also been purchased as redundancy to the main systems.

Positioning and tracking services

ADS have a technical partnership with Pisces Offshore Ltd, offering survey and tracking services. Clients now insist on having positioning monitoring of the divers as additional safety measures and also the ability to track to position of tools and support equipment whilst subsea. Therefor ADS have developed an internal survey department focused on positioning solutions for our operations. In addition, this allows us to offer further support and to the dedicated ROV packages ADS operate which include three Falcons (Complete with LARS) and two Cougars.

For more complex Survey operations such as Geophysical and UXO surveys, ADS have partnered with Pisces Offshore limited since 2013 and are ISO 9001:2015 certified, and have recognised as one of the leading Geophysical survey providers.
